Shocking service, Put my car in on Thursday and got it back Tuesday because they were taking too long, I had to ring up every day to check what was going on with it. They told me that the several different names of the part that I needed and the complete unit that I needed was a "couple of grand" and told me to get a part for them. They wouldn't find the part for me even if it was second hand.

I am in shock to be honest!!……I thought I would give a small business my custom, instead of my usual Ford dealer, to service and M.O.T my C. Max, What I wasn’t prepared for was a bill for £349!!!…….for a service, and M.O.T!!!, from this small, local business,………lesson learned!!…..The car passed the M.O.T by the way!

Called the garage and was asked to take down so they could look at the noise from the rear. Fault established quickly and returned the following day all fixed. Good price and honest advice. Thanks Dave and his team at Poolbank garage. Highly recommend.

I have been using the services of this Garage for 5 years. They employ only the best mechanics (not apprentices with limited knowledge) They are not the cheapest but they are by far the best. No rush jobs or half fixes. They explain fully to you what the problem is and give you options before going ahead with any works. I have referred family, friends and clients and will continue to do so. You must remember....you pay top dollar for a 5 star meal, so be prepared to pay top dollar for a 5 star service !

Shocking, rip-off prices. I’m not the sort of person to normally write a review but I was appalled to be asked for £800 to supply and fit a couple of rear springs on a Renault Megane. I was shocked when I called a local garage who could do the exact same work for £150. Going online reveals that even people who have been ripped off by a garage for a spring replacement have ‘only’ been ripped off to the tune of £400... well these guys wanted double that. Scandalous - wouldn’t go near them with a barge pole!

I've used Tarvin Garage for more than 10 years. They provide 1st class service, backed up with honesty, value and loyalty. Excellent customer service everytime. Always providing the customer with options and advice about your vehicle. One thing which is paramount is trust and not trying to take advantage of the customer which happens a lot with larger businesses today. I wouldn't use anyone other garage ...I travel from Crewe ... excellent keep up the good work.

After more than 6 years of using Tarvin Garage services I won't be going back. Labour rates are now around £100/ hour so for servicing you'll be coming away with a huge bill just to change plugs and brake fluid. You'll find it cheaper to get your car serviced at a main dealer. If we'd gone to Nissan the same service would have been almost £50 cheaper! Plus a dealer stamp in your book!

Ever reliable and efficient - friendly and willing to go the extra mile...they have been doing my car and my wife's car for a while...
